Which Air Con Gas do I require?
As of 2017, a new type of air conditioning gas is required by law for all new vehicles, this gas is called R1234yf. If your vehicle requires the new gas, this is now something we can provide for you at Melbourn Auto Services.

R134a Air-Con Service
Most vehicles produced before 2017 were built with an air conditioning system that uses R134a gas. We perform a full system discharge that empties your system completely before testing and then fully recharging to the correct level.
R1234yf Air-Con Service
Our most popular option for newer vehicles, a full service and system re-gas. This provides saving over individual air conditioning options. This full service takes about an hour and a half to complete and will ensure excellent cooling performance.
